Melasti is one of the best macro dives on the east coast, due to the black sand bottom and good location close to the coast.  It is very popular among underwater photographers as it has a wide selection.  Here you can find a lot of different nudibranchs, including the popular "Shaun the Sheep".  The dive site is 15 minutes by car from the resort.  Can be dived by beginners to advanced.  Visibility: 5 - 20 meters depending on weather conditions.

This dive is one of the most popular macro dives in Bali, and is only a 15 minute drive by car or boat from the resort.  The dive starts 5 meters from the beach and here you will find life macro, such as nudibranchs, ghost pipefish, scorpion fish, if you are lucky, it has previously been possible to find the rare harlequin shrimp.  In addition, there is an active cleaning station at 35 metres.  This dive is very popular among underwater photographers, and is ideal for those who love to look for small things and crawling in the sea.  The dive has a depth of 5 meters to 40 meters.  Visibility: 5 to 20 meters depending on weather conditions.

This diving area mostly consists of a sandy slope that comes from the eruption of the volcano Mount Agung in 1963, but a small coral reef has formed over the years.  This diving site is ideal if you want to find nudibranchs.  It is 10 minutes from the resort by car.  The depth is from 5 to 40 meters.  Can be dived by beginners to advanced.  Visibility: 5 to 20 meters depending on weather conditions.

Sidem is a diver's place, which is divided into two.  One dive offers a beautiful coral reef, with lots of wildlife.  The coral reef has built up from a cliff.  It is a nice calm dive, without too much current and can therefore be dived by everyone from beginners to advanced.  The diving site is 15 minutes from the resort by car.  Visibility: 5 to 20 meters depending on weather conditions.

With the traditional fishing boat, you can sail out to the popular diving site in Amed "Drop Off".  The dive starts with a small sandy slope, after which you find your way out to the colorful and coral-filled wall, which goes all the way down to 40 + meters.  The dive has great wildlife, where the chances of seeing everything from nudibranch to reef sharks are there.  The depth of this dive is from 4 to 40 meters.  Can be dived by beginners to experienced divers.  Visibility: 8 - 25 meters depending on weather conditions.

This dive is also one of the most popular in Amed, here you can find pyramid rafting tours and sculpture.  These sculptors are placed in the sea, to form a coral life, and it has worked well.  Now there is a beautiful and animal-rich life under water, which is definitely worth a visit.  Max depth is 4 to 20 meters.  Can be dived by beginners to experienced divers.  Visibility: 10 - 25 meters depending on road conditions.


Bunutan

From the beach or with the fishing boat you can take a wonderful drift dive over the beautiful and animal-rich coral reef.  This beautiful coral reef includes large colorful sponges and beautiful gorgonian feathers.  The dive has a depth of 5 to 30 meters.  Can be dived from beginners to advanced.  Visibility 10 to 25 meters depending on weather conditions.


Japanese Shipwreck

The Japanese Shipwreck is an excellent wreck dive that is low compared to normal wrecks and is only a few meters from Lipah Bay Beach.  The wreck has fantastic fish life and beautiful and well maintained coral life.  This is also a good spot for snorkeling.  The depth is 3 to 30 meters.  Can be dived from beginners to advanced.  Visibility: 10 to 25 meters depending on weather conditions.


Gili Selang

With a local fishing boat you can go out to Gili Selang which is a dive that is always full of surprises, with its beautiful corals and sponges.  The chances of seeing black or white tipped reef sharks are good, and large schools of fish are also always to be found.  There is a strong current here, so this dive is for experienced divers with AOWD.  Depth 5 to 30 meters.  Visibility 10 to 25 meters depending on weather conditions.
